  I went through ABC Cake Shop for my wedding cake, and my husband and I both loved the result! The shop has so many options for cake designs, flavors, and colors that it was hard to choose what to do. But we ended up getting a mix of the white and marble cakes and the creme and raspberry fillings. It was so delicious! Brian was a fantastic consultant and helped us every step of the way in giving us the best wedding cake. I only give this review 4 stars for two reasons. One is that it was sort of difficult to contact Brian a few times throughout the process. I suggest that anyone who needs to contact him press "2" when presented with the options in the phone menu. Choosing to talk to a representative will get you to Brian faster than pressing "3" and going to the wedding consultant line. Two is that my husband and I brought our own ribbon to put on the cake, and its color ended up being faded. So I would heed your consultant's warning about ribbon and go with what the shop will provide. Other than those things, I'm so pleased with what ABC provided, and I'll be going back for all of my cake needs in the future.

  The customer service is the worst! They're rude and have NO KNOWLEDGE of products or history of this bakery. My family and I have been going to ABC Bakery since the late 70's. This bakery had some of the BEST BUTTERCREAM FROSTING! Everyone who went to this bakery knew of their excellent frosting and cakes. This was the bakery that all the locals went too! Throughout the years I noticed a change in their products. Not as good and very inconsistent. Sometimes the cakes are excellent and other times they're terrible. I know the original owner sold the bakery sometime ago and it just keeps going downhill. The prices have gotten out of control for an inferior product. You never know if their cakes or cookies will be fresh or good. I do know this.....that the frosting that I once used to rave about is no more. They've ruined the excellent frosting that ABC was known for. So very sad!!! I really wish the new owner would just change the name. This is NOT the ABC Bakery that many locals knew and loved! PLEASE....DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!! This bakery had a long history in ABQ but no more! PLEASE....get some better counter help! The people who work for you are TERRIBLE AND RUDE!
