  fun place, love all the video screens and lights it becomes almost euphoric...my favorite is the stage the way the curtains open and close VERY theatrical...great drag queens here also!!

  My beautifully gay male friend toted my straight butt over there this last Wednesday for happy hour ($2.50 drinks) and the experience was wonderful. What a pleasant group of people there that afternoon and into the evening. The staff was so friendly, atmosphere was big but cozy. I signed up for a membership right before I left. Very welcoming for a straight female in a primarily LGBT atmosphere.

  Albuquerque's gay life is about 20 years behind the times. I was shocked that such a beautiful city, filled with art and cultural is still supporting multiple cruisy, video stores with back rooms and shady, dark bars filled with drunks and run by tired drag queens. Gay life here is basically non-existent for the progressive, successful professional. I walked into the social club one time, dealt with the whole membership thing - which was totally awkward and weird, sat at the bar had a drink among what seemed like shady, creepy drunks and finally left because I no longer could take the smell. This place would do better as a bathhouse... for real.
