  I was happy with the service. I stayed at the Best Western Inn Suites next door to this Village Inn. I ordered a carry out dinner and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent. The food I ordered was more than what I was expecting. I ordered a Cobb Salad, it was delicious and it was a modern Cobb Salad. I ordered the lunch size which was very filling, I couldn't believe that was a lunch size and I can't imagine what the regular size would be like. My family member ordered a burger carry out, the burger looked so delicious. Large portions. I would come back again.

  My waiter was probably the least friendly waiter I've had anywhere in years. Everything that he asked he asked in a way that could only portray that he didn't actually want to help me anyway. He didn't smile once, he didn't ask how I'm doing, he didn't ask if my food was good. He asked one time if I wanted a refill on my drink, as he was bringing me the ticket. At some points before speaking to other customers, he audibly and loudly sighed. He didn't not only not try at his job, he actively showed disdain for it as he was serving me.
  
  Today is Thanksgiving day, so I can understand not wanting to work, but the whole meal was just uncomfortable with him acting like that. I would have rather served myself.
  
  The food was okay, but I really don't feel like it was worth what I paid.
  
  Furthermore, I am only visiting Albuquerque for the first time, so I have no clue if this is the norm at this Village Inn, but it was definitely a bad first impression.
  
  Over all, bad service and okay food was my experience. In the future, I will opt for literally anywhere else because I don't want to risk having to eat in that atmosphere again.

  It is a Village Inn. We took our Minnesota grandkids there for a Christmas treat to remind them of home. It was a hit. The staff were great and the pie totally awesome.

  Food was good. Service is always on point. I always come here to study and the atmosphere is perfect for that. The restaurant is not too noisy and there are outlets to work on a laptop. When I come I usually come for the free pie Wednesdays. The pies are always really good! All in all a good chill place :)
